Raúl del Chano

Contemporary basket maker, sculptor, and multidisciplinary creator born in Barcelona and currently based in Olba (Teruel). His artistic practice reinterprets traditional basketry through a contemporary and experimental lens, exploring the profound dialogue between craftsmanship, design, and pure sculpture. After a successful 17-year career as head of image at Massimo Dutti, he decided to return to his roots in craftsmanship, where he now focuses on the identity of materials and memory. His work has been featured in significant spaces such as Object Space Space Object at Galería Taula Barcelona, the Domus Nova exhibition at Museo de San Isidro Madrid, and most recently at Brussels Collectible 2026.
